Canal Street Gate
I’ve never really painted a roll-down gate before, but LES BID’s 100 Gates program connects artists with business owners. I quite liked the gate outside Bondy Export because the size and the location (on Canal Street, and next to my friend’s bar/restaurant). I changed the design once I got started and the gate ended up more surreal than I had originally planned. Anyway, go check it out at 40 Canal St after 6pm or anytime on Saturday.
Oh, I also painted the door on the back of the building!
